High-quality air dome structures are usually made of airtight materials, such as polyester fiber, polyurethane, PVC, etc. These materials are flexible and have seismic performance. Air Dome structure is a flexible structure which can withstand strong earthquakes, and the membrane material is strong enough to resist other Natural Attacks like storms, typhoons. Hurricanes. Some of the air domes( Like Broadwell Air Dome) are able to withstand heavy winds, there are examples in tropical regions to prove the stability of the air dome.

If we want to compare the air dome with the traditional concrete structure building. First, the weight of the air dome building is lighter, which can reduce the pressure on the foundation and thus reduce the seismic risks. Second, various anchoring systems are installed on the air dome structure to make sure the structure is secure. Third, the membrane material is usually strong enough to withstand various kinds of extreme weather.

Intelligent Distributive Control System is Broadwell’s latest technology

Recently, the TGL indoor golf air dome structure collapsed, and the membrane material was torn into pieces due to a temporary power system outage. A distributive control system like Broadwell will perfectly resolve this situation, when the central system is down, each individual unit is still able to run normally to keep the air dome running.

Broadwell’s Intelligent Distributive Control System & Inflation system: the distributed control system allows each EC Blower to work by following the last command from the central control system, even if the central system fails, which is to keep the air dome operating normally.

The first air dome museum within the northern region, which isolates moisture and keeps the historical site safe by maintaining a perfect environment.

The world's largest single-unit air dome is Shenzhen International Low-Carbon Emission City Hall, which is equipped with a smart control monitoring system. This air dome is managed through the smart control system.

Remote Monitoring system: Broadwell’s sensor systems can detect changes in air pressure. Users are able to monitor the air dome through the mobile phone APP for daily operation and management. The remote monitoring system will send alarms to the user’s device.

Broadwell Air Dome keeps a perfect safety record through this technology; over 2000 + Broadwell Air Domes have never experienced technical failure.

Tips: Paying attention to the pressure inside of air dome, monitoring pressure regularly, and avoiding sharp objects inside of dome. Remote monitoring system can send instant alarms to users’ devices.

Our system is able to detect pressure change according to set parameters and automatically inflate to the set pressure.
